Jayne Chard Producer / Director

A psychology graduate Jayne was nominated for a B.A.F.T.A for her moving portrayal of women with HIV and AIDS in the Channel Four Film 'Speaking Out.' She has five awards from the British Medical Association and the Royal Shakespeare Buzz Goodbody Director's Award. She made single documentaries for network broadcasters and produced series for Teachers TV, HTV and BBC. She has shot internationally in Thailand, Canada, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Spain and produced documentaries in France, Germany and Israel. Jayne is also an accomplished commercials and drama director, programmes include 'Hollyoaks', 'Grange Hill' and 'Brookside'. She has considerable experience of working with young people and animals! As a writer Jayne has had three plays produced, received development monies from C4 for a six part drama series and written numerous documentaries.
